The modem blinked green like a traffic light.
"Internet is turned on, everything is all right."
And that is how began my day,
On the Informational Superhighway.

First I opened my web browser and checked my emails,
then read one of Isaac Asimov's sci-fi tales.
And when I opened Google+, I saw a couple of jokes.
On Facebook I had recieved a handful of pokes.

Then I texted my crush and my friends a bit,
Apparently my poem was a super hit.
And later I joined a 'civilized debate',
With a person whom I really hate.

Wrote a program and made a website,
Watched a funny video of a man and his kite.
The internet seriously has so much of stuff,
For one brain the information is way more than enough.

The Web is the whole world on a screen in front of you,
And there are some pictures of the outer space too.
Where people can be long-lost twins or have never met,
This is the network of networks called the Internet.
